This is how I do it!
First, you’ll need a bedside table. I suggest one that has a drawer and at least 1 shelf to help keep all your stuff from being spread around.
Also, try to find one that isn’t too big or bulky because chances are, you’re going to want it close enough to the side of the bed so that when you reach over in the middle of the night, you can easily grab whatever snack/drink/book, etc that I have sitting on my bedside table.

I keep snacks, medication, reading glasses, hand sanitizer, and spare remote controls in there. Plus misc junk that doesn’t really belong anywhere else… Underneath the drawer is where I keep my charging cables for cell phone/laptop/digital camera so they’re easy to find when needed.
There’s a bit more room underneath too which is nice for storing large books or magazines.

The width on side table between sofas not including the console on top is the same as the other at 14″ / 35.6cm (which includes the frame and legs)
